DESCRIPTION

It is the largest canyon in Europe ! In figures it is a start at 2000m altitude, 1500m of difference in altitude over 15km of length spread over 2 days of activity. The Bendola Intégrale is an interminable race reserved exclusively for endurance machines with a mind of steel ! You should not expect a “double Maglia” but rather an extraordinary human adventure where you will have to push your limits for hours on end, walking, climbing, swimming, abseiling, carrying your bag, isolated from the rest of the world in a surreal setting. The expedition starts at dawn with a 4×4 shuttle that we organize. The starting point is located next to the Cime de Marta in the mountain pastures. After a short approach walk, the abseils follow one another with the crossing of basins, dry portions and névés according to the season. The water then runs for good and a total of thirty abseils are necessary to reach the Bois des Ours bivouac. The second day is less vertical but more aquatic in magnificent reaches and meanders dotted with tufa waterfalls until the Pont de Castou which marks the end of the canyon.
