DESCRIPTION

The Siagne de la Pare, also known as the Pare d’Escragnolles, is a beautiful wild canyon with cool, emerald and crystal clear water. The session starts by crossing a small clue and a succession of gours or in other words small overflowing pools. The next part is punctuated by some beautiful tuff waterfalls and a last nice little creek. Jumps and abseils that are not too difficult are on the programme during the 5 hour descent to the confluence with the Siagne. The difficulty is to keep some energy in reserve to ensure the return, because it will be necessary to go back up on foot (1h30 walk with 400m of difference in height). This ascent is made with short easy portions of via-ferrata while crossing very impressive juniper trees. And you will even have to cross small tunnels in the cliffs. A really nice adventure !

Meeting point

The meeting place is at the Post Office in the village of Escragnolles 06460. Drive through Escragnolles on the Route Napoléon D6085, when you see the Post Office, park next to it, there are parking spaces on both sides of the road.
